Morala Detangling Curl Conditioner - ingredients

AQUA - Good old water, aka H2O. It’s mainly a solvent for ingredients that do not like to dissolve in oils but rather in water.

CETEARYL ALCOHOL - An emulsifying agent (keeps the liquids and oils from separating). It's a long-chain fatty alcohol meaning it will soften your curls and reduce the chances of frizz.

CRAMBE ABYSSINICA SEED OIL PHYTOSTEROL ESTERS - An oil that polymerizes as it dries which provides a semi-permanent protective layer on the hair keeping the cuticle in line and frizz away. Helps prevent the growth of fungus on the scalp which in turn stops hair loss and thinning.

PROPANEDIOL - We use this 100% natural ingredient as a solubiliser to blend all formula ingredients into a stable and uniformly dispersed product.

BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE - A great conditioning agent that we use to keep your hair static-free, moisturised, and less prone to frizzing.

COCOS NUCIFERA OIL - We use this for it's nourishing and moisturising benefits. It is more easily absorbed deep into the hair shaft making it that much better than other oils in repairing dryness.

PARFUM - Our fragrance is a blend of natural essential oils and synthetic fragrance. The synthetic part helps to remove the risk of any negative reaction as essential oils can be surprisingly harsh. It is also subject to IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines which means the ingredients don't pose a risk for allergens or toxicity.

QUATERNIUM-87 - Vegetable based and biodegradable ingredient with great antistatic properties. Provides ease of wet combing and doesn't build up.

CETRIMONIUM CHLORIDE - An excellent conditioning agent with anti-static, anti-frizz and detangling properties.

STEARYL ALCOHOL - An emollient which creates a moisturising layer on top of the hair strands so your hair doesn't become dried out.

PANTHENOL - Aka Vitamin B5, an amazing humectant which binds and holds water molecules. This superpower results in more elasticity, hydration and moisture given to the hair and scalp.

HYDROXYPROPYL GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE - It is cationic (positively charged) and works by neutralizing the negative charges on hair strands that cause static and tangling.

SODIUM BENZOATE - A preservative to stop the development of germs and fungi.

CITRIC ACID - A 100% natural ingredient found in citrus fruits. It is used to regulate the pH of the formula.

LIMONENE - We include this citrus based ingredient thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which are great for both your scalp and hair cuticles, but also for it's scent.

POTASSIUM SORBATE - A broad-spectrum antifungal agent, meaning it's good at preventing the growth of mould and yeast. It helps the active ingredients in the formula remain effective and prevents the breakdown of the product.

HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN - Plant-based protein that makes hair less prone to breakage while also adding volume and texture. Hair is left feeling soft and silky.

HYDROLYZED SOY PROTEIN - Plant-based protein that makes hair less prone to breakage while also adding volume and texture thanks to its conditioning properties that are beneficial for hair and also for skin.

HYDROLYZED CORN PROTEIN - Plant-based protein hydrolyzed into smaller fragments to optimise its benefits. It’s primarily composed of amino acids, peptides, and proteins and is extremely beneficial for damaged hair. It improves the traction properties of the hair fibres, particularly when being dried, helping to maintain the hair's elasticity by controlling its loss of humidity; this prevents the hair from breaking.

COUMARIN - A naturally occurring fragrance ingredient.

LINALOOL - A naturally occurring fragrance ingredient.

PHENOXYETHANOL - Phenoxyethanol helps to prevent fungi, bacteria, and yeast from growing in the product. This gives all of your Morala products a longer shelf life and ensures safety.
